AHO attends Close the Gap Day

The AHO was a major sponsor of the postponed Clarence Valley Close the Gap Day held in Grafton on 28 May 2024. The event focused on Aboriginal school students and young people, with community encouraged to bring a non-Aboriginal friend to increase awareness of Closing the Gap.

The day provided an opportunity for AHO to be involved in a large community event within the Northern Rivers area and saw us engage with community and stakeholders. Well done to all AHO staff who represented us in sharing information about the AHO’s services and programs.
