Aboriginal Housing Office

Strong Family, Strong Communities

Our 10-year strategy to improve the wellbeing of NSW Aboriginal families and communities through housing.

The Strong Family, Strong Communities (SFSC) strategy includes both our core business and key programs. It is underpinned by four interconnected pillars - Housing Solutions, Client Outcomes, Growing the Sector and Data and Evidence.

Growing the sector

Delivering housing solutions with community based on demand for social and affordable housing.

Client outcomes

Delivering housing solutions with community based on demand for social and affordable housing.

Data and evidence

Improving data collection, evaluation and analysis to plan and invest in the future.

How we deliver on our strategy

As part of our commitment to improving how we work with Aboriginal people and other stakeholders, we pay particular attention to how we deliver on the SFSC strategy.

This means there are additional things to measure - accountability, Culture and change. Read more about this on our how we deliver page

Reporting

We publish our reporting so you can read how we're tracking on our goals. Reporting comes in two formats:

  1. Each quarter we provide an update on what we achieved in the previous quarter and what we plan to achieve in the upcoming quarter.
  2. Every six months we provide an update on how we are tracking against our longer term commitments.
