AHO annual report 2024–25 delivers results and stories

The Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) has released its annual report for financial year 2024–25, showcasing a year of resilience, innovation, growth and continued delivery.

Reflecting on the importance of the annual report, AHO’s Chief Executive, Famey Williams said:

“The annual report isn’t just a document that we send off to Treasury – these stories showcase the AHO’s heart and soul. I hope readers see the difference that AHO staff make to peoples’ lives.”

Key results from the report include:

  • 190 new homes delivered
  • 774 significant property upgrades completed
  • 175 new home ownership opportunities realised
  • 11 people supported with transitional housing
  • 119 students supported with student accommodation grants.

From the AHO’s first 3D-printed duplexes on Wiradjuri Country in Dubbo to co-designed initiatives where the AHO delivered grants to MobReady or Wildflower, the report shows the breadth of work being done to deliver better outcomes for Aboriginal communities in NSW.

This year’s annual report was designed by Lara from Shiplee Studios. Lara is a proud descendant of the Wiradjuri people currently living and working on Wonnarua Country.
