The Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) will be delivering backlog repair and maintenance works to Aboriginal social housing properties across the Murdi Paaki region as part of the Murdi Paaki Aboriginal Region Housing Program (MPRAHP).
Tenants in the region whose homes are scheduled to be part of the program will be contacted by their housing provider.

To scope out property. Works will start within 6 months of this assessment.
Upgrade work should take between 1-6 weeks to be complete.

As part of the Murdi Paaki Aboriginal Regional Housing Program (MPRAHP), the Murdi Paaki Regional Assembly (MPRA) and the NSW Government are collaborating through the Regional Aboriginal Housing Leadership Assembly (RAHLA) to enhance social housing for Aboriginal people in the Murdi Paaki region.
Over 7 years, the program will deliver work to over 1,000 properties across the Murdi Paaki Region.
The program will improve homes and prevent them from becoming unusable. For Aboriginal tenants, this means improved quality of home, health and safety. For Aboriginal communities across the region, the program will deliver employment, skills and capability uplift.
